Our "ON THE STREET MINISTRY" When Christ sent out the twelve disciples on their first missionary tour, He bade them, "As ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give." Matthew 10:7-8.
The Outreach Ministry serves as an extension of Pilgrim Rest, to reach out in the community and spread the Word of God in spirit and power to those outside the church walls. This ministry will visit the sick and shut-in, and reach out to those who cannot freely attend church or hear teaching of the Word of God. The Lord's truth and power of His Word helps to meet the holistic needs of the people - spiritually, financially, physically, and emotionally.
